I specialise in children and family photography, natural newborn sessions, and intimate low-key weddings.

I’m very much a go-with-the-flow photographer, especially when children are involved.

Years of experience (and being a mum myself) means I am patient, adaptable and completely comfortable letting kids be kids.

There’s no pressure to sit still or perform - the best moments usually always happen in between.

I’m a mum of two, and I know just how quickly these stages pass.

I adore the newborn bubble - those quiet, hazy early days - my newborn sessions are always gentle, unrushed and baby-led.

My love of storytelling extends to weddings too. Low-key weddings suit me best.

I take a natural, unobtrusive approach, focusing on people, emotion and atmosphere, while gently guiding when needed.

Photography has been part of my life for nearly two decades and has taken me all over the world.

I spent five years travelling, funding my adventures through stock photography - from Mount Everest to everyday life across South America and Asia.

I’ve photographed rodeos in Australia (including bull riding - yes, it was wild), worked onboard a cruise ship as a photographer, and later returned to the UK to build a successful portrait business.

I’ve photographed newborns, families, maternity sessions and products, and was proud to work as the Baby of the Year Photographer for the South West.

After a longer-than-planned pause to have babies of my own, I returned to photography with a clearer sense of what matters most - people, connection and honest moments. That’s what led me to Shook Studios and the work I do today.

My style sits somewhere between a quiet observer and a gentle cheerleader
